Our hotels are located on the corner of Ann and Roma Streets in Brisbane’s CBD. If you need an accessible arrival route, parking or drop-off arrangements, please discuss these with our team before travelling.

Reception & Getting Around

  • Accessible reception arrangements for guests using wheelchairs.
  • Assistance to help you become familiar with the hotel layout.
  • Lifts with visual floor indicators.
  • Stairs with handrails, tactile warning strips and contrasting step markings.
  • Visual markers on glass doors and clear directional signage.

Lift floor announcements are not audible. Please speak with reception if you need help finding your way around.

Support During Your Stay

  • Guide and assistance dogs are welcome without an additional charge.
  • Assistance is available at breakfast with carrying a tray, using equipment or putting together your meal.
  • Restaurant seating suitable for wheelchair users is available.
  • Dining staff can adapt their pace of communication and provide written communication or a quieter table.

Hearing-assistance systems and vibrating alarm clocks are not currently available.

Accessible Toilets

A dedicated accessible toilet is located on the ground floor behind the Pullman reception desk. Two dedicated accessible toilets are available in the Pullman function area.

The assessed public toilets include grab bars, wheelchair manoeuvring space, accessible basins and fittings, and mirrors suitable for seated use.

There are no toilets within the Mercure function area. Please speak with our team about the location and route to an accessible toilet when planning your event.

Business Centre

The Business Centre entrance has a 730 mm clear opening. Please consider this width when planning access with a wheelchair or mobility aid.

Around the Precinct

Dining, Pool & Gym Access

Access differs between our venues and facilities. All widths below are clear openings: the available space with the door or gate open.

Goldfinch & KG Sports Bar

Both venues can be reached internally through the hotel from the Ann Street or Roma Street hotel entrances.

Use the Internal Hotel Route The venues’ direct street entrances have steps. For access that avoids those steps, enter through the hotel and follow the internal route.

Sixteen Antlers

Lifts provide access to Sixteen Antlers and its main rooftop deck.

The rear mezzanine can be reached by stairs from within the venue or by an alternative route via the pool deck.

Rear Mezzanine Route The gate between the pool deck and the rear mezzanine has a 750 mm clear opening. Please consider this restricted width when planning access with a wheelchair or mobility aid.

Rooftop Pool & Deck

A wheelchair lift provides access to the pool deck. The pool door has a 900 mm clear opening.

Pool Entry There is no assisted entry into the swimming pool itself. Wheelchair lift access is to the deck, not into the water.

Gym — Level 3

The gym has a step-free entrance with a 730 mm clear opening.

Space Inside the Gym Manoeuvring space inside is limited. Please consider the entrance width and space requirements of your wheelchair or mobility aid.

Function Spaces & Boardrooms

Function Levels

The Pullman and Mercure function levels are accessible by lift.

The Pullman function area has two dedicated accessible toilets. There are no toilets within the Mercure function area; please discuss toilet access with our team when planning your event.

Level 4 Boardrooms

The Level 4 boardrooms are reached by stairs only. There is no step-free access to these boardrooms.

Please discuss an alternative meeting space with our team if step-free access is required.

Space & Reach to Consider

Bedroom circulation, bedside access and washbasin access have limitations. The beds do not meet all assessed width and transfer-height criteria, and the bathroom mirror does not meet the seated-viewing criterion.

Some room controls, storage, fittings and bedside switches or sockets also do not meet the assessed accessibility criteria. Please discuss your transfer, movement and reach requirements with our team before booking.
